Midsumma Carnival Stall Manning

Have a heap of fun meeting new people, and promoting The Nomads club at Midsumma Carnival. We have obtained a stall, and need some volunteers to man it.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
Your club has got a stall at Midsumma Carnival, and needs members to volunteer an hour or two of their time on Carnival Day. You only need to be your enthusiastic self, and tell people about the benefits and fun of participating in our outdoors activities. Guidance will be provided on what to say and do. We hope to have a minimum of two people manning the stall at any time throughout the day.

All members that volunteer can take home (and wear on the day) one of our new branded shirts.

MEETING TIME | LOCATION: Shift times are 10am-noon, noon-2pm, 2-4pm or 4-6pm. When you register, please indicate when you might be available to volunteer (drop down options). Location is Alexandra Gardens (hard to miss on Carnival Day).

DISTANCE | TIME FROM GPO: 1 km south of the GPO. Walking is recommended, or take public transport, as there is very limited parking.

TRANSPORT: Take a train to Flinders St, or a tram to Federation Square or the Arts Centre in St Kilda Rd.

FOOD: There are plenty of food stalls and free water fountains. Remember to stay hydrated.

APPAREL | FOOTWEAR: Wear something that looks outdoorsy. Members who register their time will be given a Nomads shirt to wear, that they can take home.
