Midweek walk and lunch, Geelong

Enjoy a relaxing mid-week lunch and a stroll around Geelong's beautiful foreshore.

GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: Easy, 8 km point-to-point walk. 

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
Travel will be by train (car optional). On arrival at North Geelong Station we disembark and will make our way through Rippleside Park to Corio Bay then follow The Esplanade around to Cunningham Pier and the Carousel, then to the hotel for lunch. Afterwards we make our way to the Eastern Beach Swimming Promenade then to the Geelong Station to catch a train home. Trains run every 20 minutes.

MEETING TIME | LOCATION: 10am at Southern Cross Station. The Waurn Ponds train departs at 10:10am. Check monitors for platform. We will travel in the front car.

FOOD: Bring two litres of water. Lunch is planned at the Phoenix Hotel.
