Williamstown to Altona Coastal Ramble
About this event
A lovely 10 km coastal winter's walk, from historic Williamstown following coastal paths and walkways around to Altona.
GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: Easy 10 km, point-to-point walk on sealed paths with no hills.
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: Starting in historic Williamstown we'll follow coastal paths and walkways around to Altona with opportunities to take in the local flora and fauna and breathe some good old sea air. Local history and points of interest will be provided en-route.
Although there will be an opportunity for a short coffee break in Williamstown, and in Altona at the end of walk, bring your lunch (hot soup in a thermos, a good winter idea), snacks and water. Dress to the weather, with plenty of layers to take off/put on. It could be wet and cold that day.
