Long Forest Nature Reserve Walk (Coimadai Creek)
About this event
A circuit walk west of Melbourne, near Melton.
GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: Moderate 9 km circuit walk (graded according to the Leaders Guide - Appendix A: Activity Grading Guidelines). A fairly easy hike with just a few spots having more challenging sections.
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: This walk has just enough changes in the surroundings to make it interesting. Quite active birdlife around the sections near the creek. Nice varied trail, great hike. Think of it as Werribee Gorge Lite!
The track can get muddy after rain, so be sure to set out with good footwear if there's been recent rainfall.Â
