Impressionists Paris Exhibition - Bendigo Visit
About this event
A Saturday train trip to Bendigo to view this possibly once-in-a-lifetime and world-class exhibition, at their art gallery, visiting the Paris: Impressions of Life: 1880 - 1925 exhibition, with paintings by unknown impressionist artists working there, recording the huge social change, urban development and artistic innovation of the period. A late pub lunch nearby to follow before the return train journey to Melbourne.
GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: Easy 2 km circuit walk between Bendigo Station and the gallery, with opportunity for visiting more around-town sites if time permits.
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: Catching the 9.05am Bendigo/Echuca V/Line train from Southern Cross for the approximately 2 hour journey to Bendigo arriving 11am, we have an hour to stroll through town to reach Bendigo Art Gallery for mid-day.
